I always loved to see what wonderful creations Jessica from DIBY Club posted in the different sewing groups.  I mean, who could forget the Star Wars modified Mama Joy when she was pregnant? When the opportunity came about to test the Adrianne, I jumped on the chance to work with Jessica.

The Adrianne is designed to be a stylish, yet slouchy sweater with a unique, curved hemline.  She has two different necklines, scoop and boatneck, and four different sleeve lengths.

Somehow in all of my fabric hoarding ability, I have managed to have very few sweater knits.  This lead me to choosing a poly blend from Fine Fabrics in Atlanta for my Adrianne.  But you can bet, a sweater knit box from Sincerely Rylee will happen in the near future.

This is the elbow length sleeve with the boat neckline.  The boatneck is finished with a facing and topstitched to finish.

The one thing that sold me on this pattern was the hemline.  The banded curve is so different from the other patterns out right now.

The crossover attachment of the front and back bands allows for good movement.  Also, the length has perfect booty coverage.

I used double brushed poly solid fabric from Pretty Posh Prints for my bands.  The bands are cut opposite of the way normal bands are cut (length is with the grain) which allows for you to use all of those longs scraps from previous projects. My bands don’t lie perfectly, most likely due to the difference in weight of my two fabrics.
