The weather is heating up here in Tennessee. I swear, we skipped right past spring and headed straight into 90 degree summer weather.
I have so many plans for some short sleeve additions to my closet, but I decided to skip past those plans and go right into tank top sewing.
Petite Stitchery has a hidden gem in the (affiliate link) Swanky Tank. This swing top has two different front arm curves to choose from.
This is the deep cut front, and I love the little extra cut in the front but good coverage in the back.
The swing style is one of my favorites as it is both comfortable and forgiving.
The arms and neck are finished with bands but the band is turned in and topstitched for a more sleek look.
Maybe the best part of this tank for me is that I made a size XL out of just one yard of fabric!!! Good thing because I only grabbed one yard of this rayon spandex floral from Sincerely Rylee Fabrics.
Make sure to check out both Petite Stitchery and Sincerely Rylee Fabrics! You can even grab this pattern for free with a code in the Petite Stitchery Facebook group. A free pattern in a beautiful fabric?? What a great sew to start summer!
Until next time…sewing and sipping,
