Kristi from George & Ginger and Darcey from Sincerely Rylee Fabrics having been working hard behind the scenes to create the perfect Boho dress for this summer. With Kristi’s creative design skills and Darcey’s inspiring fabrics, they have nailed this dress. The Sincerely Rylee Dress by George & Ginger has released, and she is a beauty.
Since I started sewing, I have constantly been experimenting and expanding my style, if you can call it that! This Boho style was a little out of my comfort zone at first, but once I had the final styled photos, I started planning my next version!
The Sincerely Rylee dress has two bodice options and three skirt lengths, including top, tea and maxi lengths. The tiered maxi is definitely next one my list!
I typically only sew with knit fabrics. Woven fabric used to be a dirty word. But several designers are creating new woven patterns for the summer, and the woven selection at Sincerely Rylee is on point.
I sewed up this top length version in Leah from Sincerely Rylee Fabrics. This vertical stripe pattern was perfect for this look.
The tie strap back makes it perfect for these hot summers here in Tennessee.
The thin straps were a bit of a challenge to sew, but the final look made it worth the extra time.
I paired the Sincerely Rylee top with a pair of stretch denim (polka dot from JoAnn) Heat Wave Hot Pants.
I love the gathered skirt with the loosely fitted waistline making this a comfortable addition to my summer wardrobe.
To make things even better, this pattern is free with a combination of codes from the George & Ginger Pattern Group and the Sincerely Rylee Fabric groups on Facebook. Free pattern and beautiful fabrics. Such a huge win in my book!
Head on over to the Facebook groups for the code and check out the brand new George and Ginger website. And don’t forget to always check back to Sincerely Rylee to see the most recent fabric with fast shipping times!
Until next time….sewing and sipping,
Stacey

Love the review! I’m not big on Bobo designs either, so I wondered how this would translate and fit with my style. I love the shorter version. It seems perfect for these hot and humid tennessee summers. Thanks for your honest opinion. I’ll definitely have to give it a shot now.
